NeighborLink Welcomes Ginghamsburg Church's Youth Group

I’m excited to welcome 20 middle school students and their leaders from Ginghamsburg Church in Tipp City, OH to Fort Wayne and to the NeighborLink Fort Wayne family of volunteers.

They are spending their spring break doing this short-term, missional immersion type of trip rather than going on vacation. I like them already.

We’ll be doing some Spring yard work tomorrow morning for a disabled woman named Carla. She was unable to get to it in the fall and her son broke his wrist late in the fall and is still not able to lift much.

Then in the afternoon, we’ll head over to James’ house on the SE side to do some spring cleanup as well. We’ll wash down his vinyl siding and do some trim painting. This project will more than likely take us through Friday.

Consider praying for this team safety and experience while they are in Fort Wayne serving over the next few days. Also pray that they would have an influence on the recipients they serve and on their peers when they return home.
