Weekend Rest/Restlessness

I had a great weekend with my wife and her parents. Went to a concert of one of my favorite bands, The Counting Crows, canoed with about 100 other canoes for 8 miles in southern Indiana, and just had a great time with family.

It was a great time to relax, but I spent a lot of time thinking about all the things that could be done or things that need to be done. All the things I should be fighting for or giving my life to. NLFW things and Africa things.

I’m so glad that I’m feeling missional with life and I’m connected to the humanitarian crisis’ both locally and globally, but it gets intense in my head. I’m left wishing I felt this way in college and post college just because I could of had a few additional years.

Anyway, don’t know what to do with that other than share it with you. It’s good for my soul to throw that out there and share that with the few of you that read this thing.

Grace and Peace to you as you begin your short week!
