Team NeighborLink Cycling Kit Has Arrived!

I was like a kid getting to open the new toy in the car before getting home yesterday when I picked up the box of Team NeighborLink cycling kits. I’m really getting into this cycling thing and I have a lot of friends who are also, so it’s a fun time. I couldn’t wait until this morning’s ride so I could break out the kit.

Deciding NeighborLink had enough cyclists to create a cycling team is one of the perks of being the director of an organization. We’ve got a small, but fierce team of 9 riders on the cycling team and another 20 members on the running/outdoor team. Team NeighborLink is proving to be a fun way to support our mission and our volunteers.

Special thanks to Nate Utesch, friend and creative genius, for using his creative abilities to design the gear.

I know, the whole spandex thing is a little much, or a lot for some of you. It took awhile to get used to it and I don’t wear this around without my bike close by, so don’t worry. Seriously, we can still be friends even if I wear spandex. If you’re a cyclist, you know what I’m talking about.
