System breakdown leaves Burmese refugees in need | The News-Sentinel - Fort Wayne IN

Here is an article on the News Sentinel website that was posted yesterday about how some of the new Burmese refugees are not receiving their financial/food/medical aid in adequate time. This is a big problem in the fact that they’re having to wait close to two months to receive their aid.

What’s even bigger about this article are the responses to the article at the bottom from FW residents that decided they needed to “speak up" and share their thoughts on our new refugee friends. Unfortunately, the comments are not pretty and should challenge us to step up how we treat each other.

These comments really hit how we need a new and radical change towards humanitarian crisis.
