Last Saturday, my friend Aaron Fosnough and I took on an automotive project for a single mother of two children. We met her through the Neighborlink website. She stated that her brakes were grinding and the warning light was on. Money is tight for her so she posted the project. It turns out that she was down to metal on metal on three out of four wheels. Definitely not a good situation to be hauling kids around in. Aaron and I were able to spend a few hours of our Saturday and get the vehicle safe to drive again. Believe it or not, although it was hard work, it was actually a lot of fun! When you are working and fellowshipping with a friend and you know that you are able to bless someone it is a really great experience. She was very grateful that total strangers would do that for her. Thanks to everyone responsible for Neighborlink for giving us the opportunity to serve.
