Sometimes we have vandals in our lives. Without regard, they break through the barriers we put up to keep them out. They take whatever they want and leave us frustrated and hurt.

This was the case for this NeighborLink recipient. As you can see this gate was broken into recently.  Luckily, all the vandals were able to take was their old lawn mower.

But, with just about anything else, it can always be fixed. I was able to go and reinforce this gate in just over an hour today. It always feel good to help someone who’s asking for it and provide a sense of peace to them.

The issue isn’t always what happens to us, it’s how we respond. As neighbors, we have a responsibility to help each other keep the vandals out.

Stay aware for ways you can love a neighbor this week.
