Single Dad Needs Some Help - Volunteers Needed

I don’t inspect nearly as many projects as I should or would like to. It’s the downside of having a 70% increase in activity this year. But, when I do, I’m always more connected to the project and am better at gauging whether it’s a project worth looking into or not.

Below is one of those projects that I think volunteers who have skill at drywall should look into. This guy bought this house trying to provide a home for his two kids and got in over his head. He’s spent the last two years working on this place so his two kids can actually stay with him. Right now the kids just stay with the mom.

He may have gotten in over his head, but this guy has done a TON of work on this all on his own. He’s dug out by hand the basement floor in order to replace drain pipes and pour a new floor. Every inch of plumbing and electrical has been done.

What he needs help with is hanging the rest of the drywall and doing all the taping and mudding. Anyone that’s done drywall knows that it takes a certain touch to do it. Plus, he really just needs a helping hand.

As you can see, he’s not just asking for a handout, he’s asking for some help. He’s either got or can get all the supplies.

Click on the picture below to be directed to the project over at the website. If you don’t want to lead this project, but want to help, let me know and I’ll add you to a contact list in case I find a Coach.
