Recent Recipient Story

In 2008 I became unemployed and then in 2009 my wife lost her job.  Devastated by the economy & forced to leave our home of 10+ years, we decided to relocate to Ft. Wayne and find affordable housing and better job prospects.

We found a home in Ft. Wayne that needs much repair, but we were thankful that our family would not be homeless.  We contacted NeighborLink in desperation hoping we could get some help to make our home livable.

We were contacted shortly thereafter by Stan.  Stan has been a constant blessing to us and has fixed doors in the home (including replacing a door that was damaged after a break-in attempt) and make our home more secure.  We are so very thankful to both Stan and NeigborLink for helping us in our time of need.  May God continue to bless this ministry and those who support it.  I can assure you as soon as we are able, we will bless this ministry and those who have helped us.
