This was a great article. It talks about how non-profits are being overwhelmed with volunteers but are not structured in such a fashion that utilizes the full potential of volunteers ultimately leading to a poor experience for the volunteer.

I’m proud to say that NL is structured in a fashion that these 6 things are not barriers to volunteering with our organization. Your volunteer experience can be anything you want it to be at NL and if we can’t connect to that passion, we know organizations that can.

If you interact with volunteers or need volunteers to exist, I think you should read this article and analyse whether these barriers exist in your organization.
