NeighborLink Yard Signs Are Available

It’s great when volunteers report back to me about things we could do differently or tools they need in order to do the jobs they’ve taken on. It’s even better when volunteers ask for promotional tools like this yard sign and car magnets we’ve done in the past because they want to help get the word out.

So, I aim to please.

We now have a stock of 20 double sided yard signs for volunteers to put in the yards of projects they’re working on when appropriate. If you’re interested in one or a few, just let me know and I’ll get it to you.

Couple of Tips

  1. Ask the recipient if it’s ok to put this out while you’re working.
  2. Please remove the sign once you leave the project site. If you’re working on a multiple day project and want to leave it, great, but please don’t leave it once you’re complete unless the recipient specifically asks to keep it.
  3. Put it in a high visibility area of the yard.
  4. Feel free to display it in your own yard if you choose. It’s weather proof.
  5. Be ready to talk about why you’re serving and NeighborLink. It should draw attention and I wouldn’t be surprised if you end up making some new friends.
  6. If someone asks for assistance after seeing the sign and talks to you, feel free to have them contact us. Anyone can ask for assistance.

Email me or give me a call if you’d like one.

Thanks again to everyone that gave feedback and ideas regarding the design of this sign. I think they turned out great.

Thank you to Baldus Company for making great signs and supporting us. Thank you to Jennifer Manon who has the burden of tweezing out all vinyl cutouts in the illustration.
