My wife and I are headed to the Democratic Republic of Congo in Central Africa in July. We’ll be gone from July 25th - Aug 6th. We will be going with a team of 11 from Fellowship Missionary Church as part of their long term partnership with World Relief who has been working with church leaders in Central Africa for quite awhile.

This trip is part of our commitment to making sure we have a global awareness of the issues that face the other 95% of God’s people. We believe that we should be serving in our church, locally and globally. We’ve been supporting friends and issues globally for awhile now, but it lacked a focus. By going, we’re focusing in our resources to DRCongo for as long as God needs us to be.

Please consider praying for our group as we get prepared for the trip and work on getting the finances around. The oil prices which result in high gas prices locally also are affecting airline tickets big time, so trip cost are pretty high. God is good and always provides.
