January Winter Training Recap

Our first NeighborLink Fort Wayne training of 2011 happened this past Saturday at Fellowship Missionary Church. The attendees were from all over Fort Wayne.

We decided to stay in one room instead of breaking out into multiple rooms like we had planned, which allowed for a better gathering and for everyone to hear all the sessions.

Jeff Shatto presented on How to Be A Coach and how to lead teams.  My wife, Michelle, presented on social service resources in Fort Wayne and provided tips on what to do if you’re not sure. Brett Meyer walked through the website and I gave an introduction to NeighborLink.

I believe that social innovation & the power of a healthy neighborhood can transform communities. I'm the husband of Michelle, father to Avery and the soon to be twin Hoffman Boys. We're the H-Train. We live in a historic neighborhood in South Central Fort Wayne. My day job is the Executive Director of NeighborLink Fort Wayne. Photography has quickly become my go to creative outlet that allows me to capture the moments of life that we hold onto dearly for my family and for others.
