I'm Stoked

This weekend launches 3 straight weekends of NLFW powered GO Days or service events. Fellowship Missionary is organizing this weekend and is looking like a hundred people have decided to serve. The Chapel is organizing next weekend and have a few projects they started last month that they are going to go back to work on. St Joseph United Methodist is organizing at NE Quadrant service event where 5 churches are getting together and mobilizing their people to serve the city.

This is very encouraging to me because I can already sense the change that will happen. Our vulnerable home owners will be served in various ways. I know houses will be painted, roofs will be repaired, and leaves will be raked. I also know that lives will be transformed through their service.

So, if you’d like to serve in the next few weeks and don’t have a group to serve with, send me an email and we’ll get you signed up for something.
