I was prompted to read Donald Miller’s (Blue Like Jazz) blog today after getting his tweet regarding his 2011 resolution to not watch, but participate. 

The post had this video in it of some friends of his that created a New Year’s parade through their neighborhood that makes all the neighbors participate and won’t allow them to just stand on the curb and watch.

I hope I can live up to a resolution like that too.
