Here is a TED video presentation by Mike Rowe, host of the show Dirty Jobs on the Discovery Channel. He shares stories about the show and some crucial life lessons he’s learned as he’s traveled the country interacting with the skilled labor force that maintains the infrastructure of our country.

I’ve been engrossed in watching this show since every season is out on Netflix. The lessons he talks about in the video are some of the ones I’ve been learning at NeighborLink as I am presented with similar jobs and situations on a much smaller scale.

He’s a great presenter and communicator as well.

Enjoy
