Happy Anniversary
We got married four years ago today and it’s been a great four years. We’ve had job changes, traveled, renovated a house, and had a baby among hundreds of other things that make life fly by. I know it’s cliche, but it’s hard to believe it’s been four years already.
Something you may not have known about our story is that we actually met on a NeighborLink project two years prior to getting married. Michelle and some friends signed up for a project I was leading for a church service event. I was pretty involved in leading these types of projects at the time and would always get my projects from the NeighborLink website. Little did I know on that 3rd Saturday of June in 2005 I would first meet the woman that would become my wife.
It took several NeighborLink projects together over the summer and into the fall before I had the courage to ask her out. I’m glad she kept saying yes to joining me on those projects.
