Get Your Shovels Ready

With the threat of over a foot of snow and some ice projected, it’s time for a quick reminder to love your neighbor. I’ve just sent a press release to the media outlets reminding them that NeighborLink volunteers are available to help those that need help with snow removal.

I love a good snow storm and love shoveling, blowing or plowing snow for some reason. Maybe because every action has chips away at projects. Sometimes we need projects with a high sense of accomplishment to reenergize ourselves.

I’ll be posting projects as soon as I get them. Stay tuned for opportunities to serve if they come up. If not, consider your neighbors and neighborhood. Start thinking about who never seems to clear their driveways and sidewalks.

NeighborLink Fort Wayne is a faith-based, non-profit organization that invites Fort Wayne residents and organizations to seek free assistance from their neighbors, and invites Fort Wayne residents to join volunteer project teams to provide free assistance.
