Dare To Dream - June 6th - June 7th

First Assembly Church of God will be leading a weekend long service event on June 6th & 7th. The project will benefit “Dare To Dream” ranch ministry, which rescues and rehabilitates abused and neglected horses and then matches them to troubled children who learn to groom, care for and ride the horses. It helps teach the children to see past their troubles and to care for a living creature. The ranch provides tutoring and mentoring along with an opportunity to work alongside Christian adults.

A local car dealer has donated a 24’ x 24’ building to the ministry. The project will be disassembling the building and getting ready for it’s new use. We will need lots of both skilled and non-skilled workers to strip off the shingle roofing and part of the siding so that the roof trusses and side walls can be taken apart and moved. We need one or two 24’ flat bed trailers, a construction lull or small boom lift to lift the trusses and wall sections onto and off the trailers.

We need the following construction materials:
8 squares of shingles plus 15 lb. felt
20 sheets of sheathing
10 2"X4"X14’ wood studs
10 pcs. Drip edge
Concrete and rebar for footers
Stone and gravel for the floor
Trenching, forming and pouring labor for the footers has already been
donated but they could use help with funds for the material.
