Cornerstone Landscaping Does More Than Just Donate

Back in January I highlighted a local landscaping business that chose to donate money to us called Cornerstone Landscaping. That donation has been fueling NeighborLink projects all spring as volunteers seek financial assistance for the projects they take on.

That donation was a major boost to our project budget heading into what we knew was going to be a busy 2011. But, it isn’t the only thing we appreciate about Cornerstone’s partnership with us.

Each year, Cornerstone takes an afternoon off from regular, paying projects, and takes on community oriented projects, including NeighborLink projects.

Here are some photos from the NeighborLink project they took on this year. They were able to use all of their equipment, skills and knowledge to whip this overgrown yard into shape in no time.

We’re grateful for partners like Cornerstone Landscaping and their owner, Tim Pancake, who make community engagement part of their culture. Especially in a busier time of the lawn care season.

Photography has quickly become my go to creative outlet that allows me to capture the moments of life that we hold onto dearly for my family and for others.
