Welcome 2009

Not sure about you, but I’m excited about what 2009 has the potential to bring. I’ve got almost a year under my belt at NLFW and couldn’t be more excited about the next phase of my time here. I’ve been married 1.5 years and it keeps getting better. I have a new house. Even though it’s been a lot of work it will be amazing when it’s finished and Michelle and I can begin living our lives together in a great neighborhood.

I’m trusting that 2009 will be a good year. I guess I play a part in making that happen so I need to be on my A game to make sure I can do my best in making it.

For all of you back to work this week, I hope you enjoyed some time off. I will pray for your attitudes as you enter back into what could seem like a long year coming. Think of it this way. The days are ticking down to whatever you’re looking forward to.

I believe that social innovation & the power of a healthy neighborhood can transform communities. I'm the husband of Michelle, father to Avery and the soon to be twin Hoffman Boys. We're the H-Train. We live in a historic neighborhood in South Central Fort Wayne. My day job is the Executive Director of NeighborLink Fort Wayne. Photography has quickly become my go to creative outlet that allows me to capture the moments of life that we hold onto dearly for my family and for others.
