We are invited to see ourselves and our lives as part of God’s story. That produces people with a cause. We really are…examples of God’s determination to bring the world back into a right relation to its Creator—which finally is what peace is about. Under such a story, life ceases to be the grim, just-one-damn-thing-after-another, sort of existence we have known before. The little things of life—marriage, children, visiting an eighty-year-old nursing home resident, listening to a sermon—are redeemed and given eschatological significance. Our fate is transformed into our destiny.

I believe that social innovation & the power of a healthy neighborhood can transform communities. I'm the husband of Michelle, father to Avery and the soon to be twin Hoffman Boys. We're the H-Train. We live in a historic neighborhood in South Central Fort Wayne. My day job is the Executive Director of NeighborLink Fort Wayne. Photography has quickly become my go to creative outlet that allows me to capture the moments of life that we hold onto dearly for my family and for others.
