TUFW Class Speaker

I spoke at TUFW last night to a senior seminar class. I was asked to come and dicuss my views on what civic engagement meant, my involvements, and my job at NLFW along with what NLFW is all about.

I love speaking. Not saying I’m all that great at it, but I’m passionate about being able to share about what I’ve experienced and what I believe God has shown me through serving others and especially the marginalized. I pray that I left those students with something to think about as they pursue the next phases of their lives. I hope they will begin looking for ways to be involved in their city.

So, thanks TUFW for allowing me to share my story. Thanks students for not falling asleep and thanks to NLFW for giving me a story to tell.
