Training Session #1 - Wrapup

9 of us made it out to training session #1 where I went more in-depth on who NLFW is, how we got started, and where we’re going as an organization. There were a variety of volunteer verterans, advisory group members and a few new folks that turned out.

I am constantly reminded of how great an opportunity it is to be running this organization and getting to spend quality time with incredible people that are interested in serving their community in the name of Christ.

Everything about NLFW is voluntary. It’s all about choice. It’s all up to each of us to get involved. Project just don’t get done by talking about them or waiting for someone else to take them. So, those that choose to make these training sessions a priority and those who choose to take the projects are nothing short of great.

The theme of this year at NLFW is to “Choose Bravery"

Andrew Hoffman
I believe that social innovation & the power of a healthy neighborhood can transform communities. I'm the husband of Michelle, father to Avery and the soon to be twin Hoffman Boys. We're the H-Train. We live in a historic neighborhood in South Central Fort Wayne. My day job is the Executive Director of NeighborLink Fort Wayne. Photography has quickly become my go to creative outlet that allows me to capture the moments of life that we hold onto dearly for my family and for others.
