This room was full of people that made the trip to Biloxi, MS over the past 3 years from NE Indiana to participate in Hurricane Katrina relief through Hope City.
Hope City was the church of FW’s response to making a long-term committment to serving the victims of Katrina. Hope City was a compound that was created by custom manufactured sleeping trailers that could sleep 20 in each trailer and a bathroom/shower trailer. These trailers were permanantly stationed there for three years including tool sheds, a mobile home set up as a gathering place, and other trailers for the staff that ran the camp full time.
It was great seeing over 250 people in one room from all backgrounds and all over NE IN celebrating the impact serving people made on them.
