The Journey Is Long...

My first blog was called, The Journey is Long.. Still alive, but I don’t post to it too much anymore because of the amount of time it takes and I get to express some of the same feelings here.

The title of this blog resonates with me a lot and I’m sure some of you. That everything we do or I guess our life consists of a journey. For us Christians, we’ve believed and been taught that God has a “plan" for us and I guess to some extent that plan is our journey. It’s probably just a hokey way of saying “life."

My journey has shifted, changed, been easy, been difficult, been full of life, been isolated and been lonely along with every other emotion I could think of.

Lately, I feel my journey leading me to feeling the need for some sort of authority. That the journey has led me to a position in which I’m directly responsible for the journeys of others. Those “others" include those that are suffering in which I can play a role in bringing redemption to their story. Those “others" also include those who need to be called to a transformational experience in which they are revolutionized by the scriptures first hand.

I am entering a season of this journey in which I am being trained to be authoritative and reveal the truth in scriptures in ways I’ve never seen and then to communicate them to others.

The journey is long my friends… I hope you take some time soon to figure out where you are at on your journey through life and make sure you’re walking in the right direction.
