Thank you to the planning committee and specifically Heather Schoegler of today’s 2nd Social Service Summit for inviting me to lead a session on the “Role of Faith Based Organizations in Community Solutions."

Also, thanks to Joe Johns, director of Missional Living at Fellowship Missionary Church, for joining me in the leading of this session.

Joe and I illustrated our relationship between church and FBO. It’s not an easy process, but one that has to be rooted in relationship before significant collaboration can take place.

Finally, thank you to everyone that came to our session this morning and for sharing your challenges and wins with us. Stay focused on your missions and good luck serving those in need.
