Team NeighborLink Update

Things are moving along really well with the development of TeamNeighborLink.com, which is our running, cycling and outdoor enthusiast team. The team is our attempt to empower our NeighborLink community to help raise awareness and some funds for the work we do. We have a lot of supporters that love to run, bike, canoe, kayak, hike, etc. and we thought it would be great to outfit them with some really cool gear.

Running & Outdoor Team Update.

Shirts are in & will go to screen printers early next week. They will be ready by end of April and in time for the Indy Mini Marathon, which we have some runners for. Both shirts are made by Nike and feature their Dri-Fit technology. The outdoor shirt has a looser cut and has a slight heavier feel than the running shirt but less than a standard cotton shirt. The running shirt is an all out running shirt that is lightweight and is a micro-mess type of material.

Men’s outdoor shirt is on the left and the running shirt is on the right. We have men’s and women’s shirts in both styles. Women’s colors are are both the color on the right. We couldn’t get that brighter blue in the men’s outdoor shirt.

Here are the final designs

We’re asking for a $75 Donation to join either one of those teams. The only request we have if you join the team is that you wear it in any events you compete in and wear it during any group runs or activities.

Cycling Team Update

The cycling team is also progressing really well. Designs are done and have been submitted to www.Champion-sys.com who will be producing these custom jerseys and shorts.

We will be receiving a sizing kit in the last week of April to finalize sizing. We need at least 3 more people by then to join the team in order to place our order. We have to have at least 10 jersey orders to hit our price point. You can choose to order just a jersey or you can order both.

Jersey Only = $85

Jersey & Choice of Shorts = $175 (choice of bib shorts, regular shorts or triathlon shorts)

We would like to place an order on May 2nd. They do take 6-8 weeks to produce, so we need to move quickly.

If you’re interested in joining either team, please do so or pass the info along to your friends that would love to run or bike for a cause this year. NeighborLink will put that donation to work mobilizing volunteers in the Fort Wayne area to meet the needs of our recipients.
