Story: I posted a request for Moving Assistance for a wheelchair-bound senior friend. Ashley of Aboite Baptist Church responded with her team of 6 youth group members—-what an amazing bunch! Ashley, Bethany, Brittni, Nicole, Hannah, John & Derek braved the chilly 20 degree weather on Sat., Jan. 31, to tackle the job of moving many heavy furniture items and mountains of boxes from a storage facility to the senior’s new third floor apartment. Their enthusiasm and cheerfulness never wavered, even when faced with a couch that wouldn’t quite fit through a doorway. John & Derek were even able to remove & replace the storm door & frame to get the job done— above & beyond the call of duty! What an awesome demonstration of Christ’s love, by their positive attitudes, and generous sacrifice of time and hard work. Aboite Baptist Youth Group ROCKS! Could not have done this without your help! God bless each and every one! Thank you, NeighborLink, for this venue!
