Roofing Project Thank You Note

I should tell you that the woman, Mary, who needed help with the roofing project that I blogged about last week is really named Christina. I change the names of the recipients when I share their story with you unless they feel comfortable sharing it with you.

Christina was so grateful for all the volunteers who showed up and for all of you that donated funding to the project. You should also know that you donated a combined amount of over $1,200 $2,000 to this project. That’s four times what I asked for. This amount allowed me to pull the grant money I had designated and put it towards other projects. Any amount left over, 100% will go to other NeighborLink projects as well.

Christina wrote a nice thank you and wanted me to pass it along to you.

To all who provided funding and labor for my new roof:

I want to send out a BIG thank you and God bless you all for the monies donated for my roofing project and all the hard work of the volunteers who gave of their time and efforts.

Thank you Andrew and NeighborLink for the coordination the project.  The rain is no longer coming into the house.   The roof is beautiful!

Thank you and bless you all,

Christina
