Our Love for Others - Blog by Chelsea

I really like it when certain messages or verses continually pop up within a short period of time. It’s like God is trying to bring to focus a part of His heart, and wants you to clearly see. This has happened to me this past week.

During J-Term a few of us are hosting student led chapels, because we don’t have any. This past Wednesday we decided to go with the theme of “Our love for God” and “Our love for each other” because the two go hand-in-hand. We were made to be in relationship with one another, and we share with each other through love.

This morning, in church we were talking about relationship, and how we are called into relationship with God, and with one another. The Bible states in Matthew that we should love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and that we love our neighbor as we love ourselves.

We were created by God and for God. To love and be loved. Our lives should reflect love.
