NeighborLink Fort Wayne Facebook Fan Page

NeighborLink has had a presence on Facebook for a few years now. When I started incorporating Facebook in our social media strategy, I created a Fan Page and a Group to see which one was going to be the best way to connect to our supporters.

The Group page took off primarily due to me feeling it was the best way to connect with everyone, but after about 2 years of use and the changes Facebook has made, the Fan Page seems like the best route forward.

I don’t like switching around just on a whim, but I want to communicate information relevant to NeighborLink and volunteer opportunities as clear as possible. Fan Pages allow us to show up in your News Feed with updates. This is important because it eliminates the need to send messages to the entire group every time I want to share news or opportunities to you.

We’ll still send messages and we’ll still send out event notices to the members, but hopefully we can streamline our information to you.

If you’d like to join our Facebook Group, click the logo below and you’ll be redirected.

Andrew Hoffman
I believe that social innovation & the power of a healthy neighborhood can transform communities. I'm the husband of Michelle, father to Avery and the soon to be twin Hoffman Boys. We're the H-Train. We live in a historic neighborhood in South Central Fort Wayne. My day job is the Executive Director of NeighborLink Fort Wayne. Photography has quickly become my go to creative outlet that allows me to capture the moments of life that we hold onto dearly for my family and for others.
