My Electronic Devices are Mad At Me

So far today, I’ve had 3 technological, electronic devices upset with me for some reason. I blame it on the weather, they probably blame it on abuse. Whatever the reason, I’m not very happy and I’m definitely lighter in the pocket because of them.

Here is the series of events:

1. My Land Rover has a super computer running the thing that has all kinds of notifications of things that could go wrong. A couple of weeks ago my check engine light came on. The car didn’t stop in it’s tracks which typically means its some sensor or something. Today, I had scheduled an apointment with a new Land Rover mechanic I found to get it diagnosed. So, a small fortune later the light was diagnosed, turned off and I was on my way down the road only to have it come back on meaning it was more than just a sensor going off. So, it will have to go to the dealer to get fixed. Means a trip to Indy.

2. My Blackberry has definitely been abused, so I have to just deal with it’s problems. I guess dropping it repeatedly causes internal problems which cause me to remove the battery a couple of times a day to reset it. For some reason it didn’t want to talk to the Land Rover dealer this morning when I called to make an appointment because it froze up and turned off.

3. Lastly, the old Apple MacBook likes to shut down from time to time as well. I think I have it overloaded and it gets cranky. Despite some cracking plastic from it’s constant in and out of my bag and being toted everywhere, it’s doing pretty well. Just a few quirks. Hope it makes it. Kinda need it.

Sorry, had to vent. Today can only get better unless my cordless drill breaks or something.

Hope you’re having a better morning!
