Most people don’t believe they are capable of initiative.

Seth’s Blog

Seth’s post today on the common reactions to taking initiative rings true for me at NeighborLink. It’s the number one barrier that holds most people, groups and churches I work with from participating in the community. They know it’s important, it’s the right thing for to do and often know they would have people to help them, but it’s so hard to choose to be the initiator.

I wish I knew how to get more people to initiate at NeighborLink and the many other areas I’m involved in.

Photography has quickly become my go to creative outlet that allows me to capture the moments of life that we hold onto dearly for my family and for others.
