It’s always good to know people. This past week, the head groundskeeper from the Fort Wayne Tincaps called and wanted to know if we could use some left over sod for any of our projects. It’s fun to see how things work out because there was a recipient who wanted to have her backyard repaired and to have grass growing again. She is a longtime dog owner and it’s nearly impossible to get grass started with dogs running around and we’ve not been able to help her.

Once I got the call, I immediately thought of this project to see if putting the leftover sod that was destined for the dumpster to the test.

So between Saturday and Sunday, a team of friends got the yard cleaned up and the sod installed. Thanks for all the help everyone.
