Intentional Tip

How do you celebrate when you find money in the pockets of that jacket you haven’t worn in a long time or in a random place at home?

Well, for a friend of mine, after carefully and prayerfully considering what to do with those dollars, she opted for the tip jar at a local coffee shop.

She had the normal mental conversation that goes with finding anything of value that you’ve forgotten. What can I buy with this? Those shoes or clothes or that new thing that I’ve really been wanting. Should I put it towards a bill? Should I save it? If I give it away, how much should I give?

My friend told me her and her husband’s had a busy schedule this past weekend, which prevented them from participating in the NeighborLInk IAK event physically, but wanted to participate in the theme of the event.

I was blown away by their decision to pass that amount of money on & be intentional in providing a blessing to those who serve us daily and may feel forgotten or under appreciated.

A group of employees at that coffee shop received a very kind surprise this past weekend.

We all receive the excitement of hearing a great story.

Keep being generous. It gives hope & encouragement to us all.
