I'm back!

Hello Everyone..

My wife and I along with our team just returned on Friday and everything went amazing! Thanks to you that prayed for our journey. Your prayers were answered and very needed.

I learned more than I could tell you here in a blog post but I will try to list a few.

1. That even the most beautiful places on earth can be the most dangerous and unstable.

2. That when churches come together to meet the needs of the most vulnerable among them, God shows up in powerful ways.

  • 5 homes were built in one day
  • Over 100 people were fed who hadn’t eaten in as much as 3 days and many came to Christ because of them choosing to feed the hungry
  • That fields can be cultivated by hand in a very short period of time and the local officials will give you 3 times the land you rented because of what you’re doing.
  • That he will keep a team of foreigners in His will for them during their trip by keeping them safe

3. That you can do huge things with very little

4. If you have a machete and a hoe, you can do anything

In the coming weeks, I’m sure you will hear more of my trip and pick up on things that I learned during our time. God really revealed and confirmed the work that NLFW is about through the makeup of this trip. I saw that if an under-resourced Church can do much with little, why can’t we?

I’m glad to be back and ready to continue the work that God has for us at NeighborLink.

Time to get to work…
