I talked some friends into taking a NeighborLink project with me this past Saturday as part of Fellowship Missionary’s GO Day. We helped a woman named Joanne who’s bed bound due to leg disabilities among other things.

Joanne relies completely on home health care providers who send aids to help her continue living independently.

As for the project. Joanne moved within the past year and as any move does it leaves your place in quite a mess and you inevitably can’t find certain things. So, Joanne needed helping finding a few important papers and help sorting mail. Pretty simple stuff for most of us, but when you can’t get out of bed, it’s the toughest thing you could imagine doing.

We were all impacted by the situation and I took the time to record my thoughts on the project on the way home. I’m trying the whole podcast/audio blog thing with this post.
