I Don't Make This Stuff Up

I love how unsuspecting things come together.

We have the Leaf Raking Challenge coming up next week designed to get as many people involved helping those unable to rake their own leaves as possible. I sent press releases out to media outlets last week to gain some attention for the event and make sure those who needed help know there is a group trying to help them out.

I receive two phone calls from two women desiring to help out. I called them both to get more information about where they live and whether not they just needed a project or wanted to help out with a group of people.

After both phone calls, it was clear that they were meant to work together. They both live on the same side of town and both wanted to work on the same days at the same times.

I have no idea what will happen, but I trust that it was supposed to work out this way. Maybe not, but that’s what I’m choosing to believe right now.
