how YOU can help

One of the students in my J-Term class at Huntington University is raising awareness for Tide’s Loads for Hope. Check out her blog and her compelling call to help provide laundry service for those still effected in the Hurricane Katrina area and other natural disasters around the country.

Now that you understand my passion for Loads of Hope and are wanting to know how you can help. It’s simple.

1. We are all tide fans already; therefore, the next time you buy you laundry detergent, buy the yellow cap tide. A portion of the price automatically goes to the families affected by disaster.

2. Buy a Tide Vintage T-shirt. All the profits go directly to the cause. Tide is recently promoting the “1000 Load Challenge.” Tide is challenging America to purchase 1000 loads Tide Vintage T-Shirts in 100 days. Log on to http://www.tide.com/en-US/loads-of-hope/thousand-load-challenge.jspx to see their progress.

Everybody can make a small difference and Tide has created a way that we can make a difference in a cheap way. Don’t take clean clothes for granted and give families affected by disasters HOPE!
