Grant Updates

Thought I would fill you in on how the recent St Joseph Foundation and Sam’s Club Foundation grant funds have been used so far…

1. New Roof - A portion of those funds went to ensuring a small group from FMC could bless someone in their congregation with a new roof. The roof is almost finished.

2. The Chapel Go Day - Another really small portion went to purchasing some paint supplies for three painting oriented projects for elderly and disabled recipients that The Chapel started on last weekend as part of their GO Day.

3. New Furnace - A portion went to a woman who is running a homeless ministry out of a house on Lafayette to replace a furnace. The furnace company gave her a great deal and she was able to find the remaining funds elsewhere.

This is the stuff that makes me love my job at NLFW and thank God for intervening on these people’s behalf. It took many people and their resources to accomplish this.

Thank you to all involved!
