From The Roots - Saturday's Winter Training Series

Hearing the story from the founder of NeighborLink will always connect you to the roots of the organization far better than I could ever do.

This Saturday, one of the founding member and creator of the first NeighborLink website, John Barce, will be leading our Winter Training Series event at Blackhawk Ministries from 9am - Noon.

I’m honored to get to spend time with John on a monthly basis as he’s still our board president. John brings a depth of hands-on experience serving our recipients and working with our volunteers.

I would encourage you to join us this Saturday morning at Blackhawk. We’ll be meeting in the school building in what’s called, The Asylum. It’s just inside the doors and to the left. The morning is typically one long conversation with multiple topics. We only stay on a topic for as long as the discussion goes.

The topics of the morning:

  • Intro to NeighborLink
  • How to Engage the Recipient
  • How to Live in the Tension
  • Website Walkthrough
  • Volunteer Roundtable

Please send me a quick email or leave a comment here if you can join us.
