Fingers Crossed

Completed and submitted my first grant request yesterday. We’re requested funds to provide materials for those attempting to tackle larger projects. We’ve found that over half of the projects that come through NLFW aren’t being completed do to two main factors.

1. Available skilled labor volunteers

2. Resources/materials to complete the project

We either can’t find the people to lead the project or we can’t provide material or financial resources to subsidize the project.

So, we’re trying to fix that one step at a time. We believe we do have skilled volunteers available that have not been involved due to not having the materials to provide for the project. First step is trying to get the funds that will make materials available.

Pray with me that this $5000 mini-grant will come through and help some needy individuals.
