Fast-Paced Days Seem to Never Stop // Blog by Hilary

Today has been a busy day.  I had two morning classes.  I woke up at 7:15 to realize I had a paper assignment due right at my eight o’clock class.  Because of my college expertise at procrastinating or just simply forgetting I managed to get it done.  While I reread it in class I realized I must have still been half asleep when I wrote it.  I had to just laugh.  After my two classes, I had to run some last minute errands for parents, class, and soccer.  So, I finally get to sit down and breathe which I am so thankful for.  It seems that everything comes in spurts.  I will be so busy, even busier than today for a week at most, then it will slow back down to where I am wondering what I should do with my day.  Even though I am just 21 I realize this is a life pattern that I think most of us go through.  But just as fast as the week starts, it ends.  I am so ready for the weekend!  Spring break is coming up for Saint Francis and in less than ten days I will be on the beach with the sand between my toes.  (Sorry, don’t mean to rub this in to anyone staying here in the good ole Fort, but I had to get that out!)  But until then, I will be busy with midterms and papers!  Right now the hot Florida sun is the only thing pushing me along!

Tomorrow I am going to a luncheon with Andrew where different agencies come together to discuss what’s going on around our area.  This should be fun and I am definitely looking forward to it.  It’s neat seeing everyone come together to be a part of one event.  There are so many kind people that I love meeting and talking to.

Also, Saturday will be my first time attending a project through NeighborLink. I am also really pumped for this event.  I’m hoping some of the girls from my soccer team will come and help! We will see!

God bless everyone and Hope everyone has a beautiful weekend.
