City of Fort Wayne Wants Your Storm Pictures

The City of Fort Wayne wants your storm related pictures that show damage to livable spaces, such as houses or trailers in order to assess the damage and prove that the storm we had on Friday warrants Federal Assistance.

Submit your pictures here:

Here is an email I received after I submitted a few pictures today.

Thank you for all of these photos.  Encourage anyone that you know who has documented property damage to send us this information. These photos will be of great assistance when we are reviewing the amount of damage our community has endured.  I recently learned that the damage must have happened to a livable space (ie. a garage, or shed won’t count) and that we must have over 1.5 million dollars of damages in order to qualify for any assistance.

Exact addresses are best, but your detailed descriptions of location should help us find the address.

Thanks again,

Charles Duckwall - City of Fort Wayne

Photography has quickly become my go to creative outlet that allows me to capture the moments of life that we hold onto dearly for my family and for others.
