Around The Block - Telling The Stories of NeighborLink

We’re launching our first attempt at raising some funds for NeighborLink Fort Wayne’s storytelling project. Story has always been a crucial part of what makes NeighborLink work. It’s why people take projects, why people help when it’s not convenient, and why people choose to support projects with their financial and tangible resources.

This video will give you some background on what we’ve been doing all summer to ensure that this new direction we’re trying to take as an organization is the right one. We’ve created over 10 videos this summer and we’re just finding our groove.

"Around the Block: Telling the NeighborLink Stories" - Kickstarter Campaign from NeighborLink Network on Vimeo.

100% of the proceeds we bring in from donations will go directly to funding our videographer, Ryan Schnurr, so he can continue to capture the life that happens in and through the volunteers and neighbors of this great organization.

You Can Learn More about our Campaign & The Incentives for Donating by clicking the image below. We’re looking to raise $5,000 which would give us enough funds to complete 10 more videos by the end of 2012.

PS… by donating directly on the NeighborLink website, we’ll be able to save upwards of 9% of processing fees than by donating at Indie GoGo or at Kickstarter.

I believe that social innovation & the power of a healthy neighborhood can transform communities. I'm the husband of Michelle, father to Avery and the soon to be twin Hoffman Boys. We're the H-Train. We live in a historic neighborhood in South Central Fort Wayne. My day job is the Executive Director of NeighborLink Fort Wayne. Photography has quickly become my go to creative outlet that allows me to capture the moments of life that we hold onto dearly for my family and for others.
