4.18.09 Service Event Info Update

I’ve gotten some great response so far from the newspaper article by Frank Gray and by the news appearance this week. There are a number of elderly and disabled people out there that were just unable to physically handle the clean up on their own. I got a good list going of projects.

10+ residential projects & more coming in daily

Parks Department has a few areas they could use help getting ready for spring due to recent flooding.

We have 5 churches committed to organizing that day - Should be over 300+ volunteers

NL Porter County in NW Indiana is organizing that day

The new NL St Louis is organizing a few projects that day

We have a number of new volunteers that are excited to join in on the efforts

I just updated our website to have the latest information. I’ll be updating this on a regular basis as new things develop. If you want to join in on the serving that day, just let me know.
