250 Projects Completed So Far in 2010

This is the number of projects completed to date in 2010. Only 12 away from the matching the total number completed in 2009. It’s 50 projects shy of our 2010 goal. I’m looking forward to seeing the 300 number exceeded if the pace of the volunteers keep up.

This number is really remarkable given the fact that 100% of these projects have been self-selected, organized and completed by our volunteers. We don’t set up too many projects for volunteers to walk into. We instead encourage our volunteers to choose how they’re going to make a difference from the list of projects.

I’m encouraged by all of the volunteer activity and know that not only are practical needs being met, relationships are being formed. Formed in order to remind people that they’re loved by a gracious God that hasn’t forgotten about them.

Keep up the good work.
