Fox Family

December 2013 - Fox Family - Fort Wayne, IN

It's not every day you get asked to take pictures of family "Zizzou." (Life Aquatic reference for those that don't know). And on top of taking photos of one of the coolest families I know, they wanted to take pictures at the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society where the infamous Engine no. 765 hangs out most of the time. If you're not caught up in all the majestic energy around passenger rail these days, you really should check into it.

Despite being freezing cold, windy, and a little snowy, the Fox family brought their smiles and fun loving personalities. We did our best to incorporate the trains both inside and out for as cold as it was. Regardless of the weather, the love they have for each other really shined through in the images. They are some of my favorite images of the year.

I believe that social innovation & the power of a healthy neighborhood can transform communities. I'm the husband of Michelle, father to Avery and the soon to be twin Hoffman Boys. We're the H-Train. We live in a historic neighborhood in South Central Fort Wayne. My day job is the Executive Director of NeighborLink Fort Wayne. Photography has quickly become my go to creative outlet that allows me to capture the moments of life that we hold onto dearly for my family and for others.
