Not only has it been fun to take family photos of my friends, it's been fun to have the opportunity to take photos for friends of friends. This is Dannie & Amber and I met them after our neighbors and friends, the Shanklins, posted a few of their family photos on Facebook. Dannie and Josh grew up together and have been friends for a really long time. i tried to get some of the old stories out of them, but I guess there weren't too many to share, or at least to share with me.
I learned at the end of this shoot that if I could only take family photos in the fall and on gorgeous farms, I'd be alright with that. There were no shortage of great locations to capture this family. I found myself looking for one more spot the whole time I was there.
It was a pleasure to get to know the Stanleys in the brief time we spent together. I'm sure if we all lived in the same town, we'd all be friends. Speaking of, as soon as Dannie's done with PhD work, Fort Wayne could be calling. We've got some houses for sale in Fort Wayne. Just sayin.
