October 2012 - Swygart Family - Fort Wayne
My wife and I are expecting twins and we thought it would be fun to do some family picture bartering. I'm not a professional photographer trying to make a living on photographs, so it was easy for me to throw out the idea to friends and see who had baby oriented items to trade with.
What I didn't expect was the amount of opportunities to take photos of families that had much better gifts to give than what I thought I had to offer. Take the Swygart Family here as an example. Ben and I go back a few years ago when we used to work at the same advertising agency, and we all go to the same church. Ben emailed me shortly after I announced the photo project with a proposition to trade for a logo. I quickly said yes.
This is their first child and I really enjoy getting to take family photos with families with newborns. That new baby environment is just kind of fun. I better not say that too loud as we'll be adding two of those new babies soon ourselves and I doubt I'll be saying how fun it is.
